FAQ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I cancel or change my existing reservation? Please call or email to make any changes to your reservation. Thank you!

What does the temperament test consist of? With every new dog joining the pack, we want to sure that they are a good addition, to personalize the care towards them, and to make sure they are comfortable in this style of open-play dog care. We take it slow with new dogs to see their personality, energy level, and demeanor. Some dogs are out-going and run right into the pack, some are more timid and join slower. Some dogs play the whole time, others lay around and sleep, but we want all dogs to be into this environment. We don’t want any dogs over-whelmed or stressed about the situation. The owner does not need to be present for the test, and we actually ask them to leave but stay within cell service for 15 minutes while their dog(s) is brought into the pack. We also like to schedule these between 9-11 to avoid the AM rush if at all possible.

Can the temperament test be the day of that I drop my dog for boarding? Yes, we can do the entry test the day of, preferably between 9-11AM. If you’re in the area, we highly encourage you to come by for a day of daycare and the test before a boarding stay.

Am I still charged for the entry temperament test if my dog fails it and has to be picked up? Owners will still be charged for the temperament test if the dog is asked to be picked up. Not charged for reservation.

Should I bring a bed or blanket? Owners are welcome to bring beds or blankets for their dog(s). We provide these if they don’t.

Should I bring bowls? We do provide bowls so owners can leave theirs at home unless the dog(s) have specific bowls they need to eat from.

Is there a refrigerator for my dog’s food? We do have a refrigerator for any food that must be kept cold.

Do the dogs get water throughout the day? We always have community water bowls out with the pack throughout the day. Every private kennel has its own personal bowl.

We didn’t make it back by 6 and forgot to call or email about our late arrival, Can we still get our dog? Unfortunately if our staff didn’t hear from you, the dog(s) will be fed and be staying the night. Your food if we have it, ours with a fee. Late pickups are by appointment, have an extra fee, and cannot always be accommodated.

What kind of heat does the facility have? We have in-floor radiant heat which helps keep the building a comfortable temperature for the dogs while they run, play, and rest, even when the door is open. Many dogs in the winter prefer to lay on the concrete floors off their beds or blankets. They do the same in the summer when the floors stay cooler.

Do you allow puppies? We do allow puppies, they must follow all the guidelines and requirements.

Can my dog come play or stay if it has stitches from a recent injury or surgery? We do not allow dogs with stitches in.
