Reservation Cancellation Policy

Our boarding facility has limited kennels, and especially during high season time we are frequently at 90 - 100% occupancy. When we are at capacity, the lack of space may force us to turn away some clients for boarding. When clients pick up their dogs early, cancel reservations, or change reservations without an appropriate amount of notice (at minimum 24 hours), it is frequently too late for us to fill the kennel space that we reserved for them because the clients that we turned away have already made other arrangements.

 General Cancellation Policy

All Cancellation Fees will be charged to your card on file

​If you have a daycare or boarding reservation and don’t show up, and don’t contact us, we will charge your full reservation scheduled.

Cancellations greater than 48 hours will not be charged anything. Our less than 48 hours cancel policy is still in the works.

We require at the latest a 24 hour notice for cancellations or reservation schedule changes. Daycare cancellations the day before carry a $20 cancel fee. A daycare cancellation the day-of drop-off will be charged for daycare. This cannot come off a punch pass.

A boarding cancellation with less than 24 hours of notice, owners will be charged for 1/2 of their reservation, topping out at 2 days. A boarding cancellation the day-of drop-off owners will be charge their full reservation, topping out at 2 days.

Clients that have early pick ups and don’t communicate it to us, will be charged for their originally scheduled reservation.

 Holiday/High Season Cancellation Policy and Reservation Changes

​Cancellations or Reservation changes with more than 72 HOURS NOTICE will not be charged. *The less than 72 hours cancel policy still in the works. Cancellations less than 48 hours will be charged for 1/2 the reservation, topping out at 3 days. Cancellations less than 24 hours will be charged for their full scheduled reservation, topping out at 3days. Daycare cancellations less than 48 hours notice are charged $20. Less than 24 hours notice are charged for full day of daycare.

*Late Pickups

-We do not schedule pick-ups and drop-offs outside of normal business hours. We are a family-owned business and we have hours so we can maintain our family life. In the event of an emergency or dire situation, an arrangement out of hours can be made ahead of time for your dog. These are by appointment only.

  • If a boarding/daycare dog(s) isn’t picked up by 6pm and we haven’t been contacted, your dog(s) will be fed at 6, your food if available or ours with a fee, and will be staying the night.

  • Requesting a late pickup (up to 15 minutes past 12 or 6) carries a late pickup fee of $20 and is by appointment only.

  • Pickups beyond that carry a later pickup fee of $50 and are by appointment only.

  • These after-hours types of pickups cannot always be accommodated.

    Holidays

Please note that we are closed to the public the following days for pet drop-offs and pick-ups:

  • New Years Eve -2023

  • 4th of July

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas

​* "Closed" means that dogs will not be accepted for daycare or boarding pick-up or drop-off, but the staff will be there to care for the boarding dogs throughout the day as usual.

We will be open and at capacity Presidents Day Weekend, Easter, Memorial Day, FIBArk Weekend, Beerfest, Labor Day Weekend, and the above holidays with the additional guidelines stated right below.

During the holidays and high-season weekends, daycare is $50 and boarding requires a 2 day minimum stay. These holidays include 3 days leading up to, and 3 days following federal holidays and in line with local school closures. High Season is Memorial Day through Labor Day.
